Sean Anderson's Capstone Portfolio

About Me

My name is Sean Anderson and I’m an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan, Class of 2015. I was born in San Francisco in 1993 but spent my whole childhood growing up in a suburb just outside of Milwaukee, WI. At UM, I’m majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, minoring in Writing, and studying to go to medical school after I graduate.

My first true love is baseball and I spend a lot of my time keeping up with the Milwaukee Brewers or attending their games, wherever and whenever possible. Time not spent studying either schoolwork or box scores is usually allocated to the University’s Science Learning Center, where I work as a study group leader for introductory science courses. I’m also the Co-President of the Maize & Blue Games, a charity organization on campus that hosts sports tournaments every semester and donates the proceeds to Detroit PAL, a nonprofit organization that helps to organize youth sports leagues in areas that otherwise wouldn't be able to fund them.

My other hobbies include running, playing basketball or baseball (softball nowadays) whenever I can, dominating my roommates in Super Smash Bros 64--the only truly timeless video game I’ve ever come across, keeping up with TV shows , or just being with friends…especially on Michigan basketball or football gamedays.
